Marissa,
From talking with your family in the past and knowing that your family has ADHD and Epilepsy you are trying to control, it seems like it is harder to regulate the medication because of the two combined. Never hesitate to get many opinions of different doctors. Even though you may have a great doctor, your number one priority is Jameson.
If his medicine isn't regulated yet and it isn't working or you haven't found something that worked, seek out a second or third opinion.
I am not sure if Jameson is seeing a Neurologist, or an Epileptologist.
- Keep a seizure journal
- Everytime a seizure occurs write it down (time, what is happening, how long, response)
- Write down for a month what Jameson eats, and then each night if he has any seizure affect to those foods
This will help you try and correlate what reacts with Jameson system, and then be able to tell the doctors when they ask.
Enhance the seizure journal more than just recording seizures.
- Record food,
- Record activity each day,
- Record educational ability
This will allow you to see his progress as time goes on as well as help the doctors.
I am not a doctor, but this will help your doctor, and his therapist when you go to the appointments and they ask you questions about his seizures.
Update us when you get a chance.
Have a great day,
Epilepsy One
