VIRGINIA TEAM AT NATIONAL WALK
John and Deborah Lannen were in charge of the Virginia team at the National Walk for Epilepsy, which was held in Washington DC on March 28. Says John Lannen, "EFVA-Virginia Affiliate" ended up with 11 teams (tied for first place for # teams) and 95 walkers (including both virtual and actual walkers). Between the 11 teams, we raised $17,331 !!! This is almost $4k more than the initial figure Deborah reported after the walk & should put us in 2nd place for funds raised by an affiliate. Pretty good considering today's economy! Thanks to all of our team captains who formed teams within "EFVA-Virginia Affiliate" & to all of our walkers. "
